At HMC we encourage our congregation to join together in small groups.

Connections We run regular 8 week courses called Connections 1, 11 & 111, where, we have the opportunity to find out more about what it means to be a Christian where we will be looking at topics such as:

- Do you ever have questions about becoming a Christian?
- Who is Jesus?

- Is Jesus relevant to my life?

All of our groups are open and welcome new members at anytime. Meeting details are published in the church list of Upcoming Events listed on our website and in the weekly notice sheet.

House group:

One evening every fortnight (normally), up to ten of us meet together informally in one of our homes for bible study, discussion, prayer and fellowship. The core of our meetings is usually the study and discussion of a particular book, series of articles or whatever; but we almost take an improper pride in our ready capacity for digressing from the central theme and ‘putting the world to rights (we haven’t quite succeeded yet, but we are still trying)! Joking apart, we do quite deliberately leave time in our meetings to talk about any particular problems or concerns (personal or otherwise) which anyone may have on their mind at the time and want to share; and sometimes this may fill the evening completely. If so, we donÂ’t mind: it may be the most valuable thing we can do at that time.

Our happy, friendly group meetings always finish with a short time of prayer, followed by tea or coffee and biscuits and more conversation – but then, as an advertiser rightly says, “it's good to talk”.
